The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
The Fault in Our Stars

I’m always on the search for a good book, so when I got about 5 recommendations of The Fault in Our Stars, I figured I might as well read it.

The story focuses on cancer patient Hazel Grace Lancaster. Hazel, now 16, has been diagnosed for several years and has pretty much accepted her oncoming death. She’s uninterested in pretty much anything to do with life. That is, until she meets one-legged 17-year-old Augustus Waters, through a cancer support group. Life takes a dramatic turn for Hazel, especially when Augustus reads her favorite book, An Imperial Affliction. Suddenly everything in Hazel’s life is changing, for better or for worse.

The writing of the novel is gorgeous, the characters perfect, the story beautifully tragic. Every character has a depth to them that makes them stand out, none of their actions without agreeable reasoning, each with an amazing personality.

Anyone ages 12+ can enjoy this fantastic novel, as long as they’re prepared for a tragic ending. No doubt this story won’t fail to melt and break the hearts of all readers!
Okay?
